Throughout both the Old and New Testaments, the Bible is clear that widows are close to God’s heart and that the Church is to provide extra care and concern for its widows.  Our Acts 6 Ministry exists to serve widows in our church body and was founded on the biblical principle outlined in Acts 6 to oversee their care.  Below is an outline of the history of the Acts 6 Ministry at Colonial.



♦ February 2018, Ministry Development Team Established (Deacons and two Widows)

♦ March 2019, Widow Questionnaire Sent to All Widows at Colonial
